Stephan:   Yesterday I did an article on the quality of Chinese leadership, a nation led by scientists, physicians, and engineers. So today let's take a look at American leadership. Start with the unindicted co-conspirator felon we have as president, our christofascist  vice-president, with his strange views about women, then consider the band of grifters, thieves, and women molesters with whom they have surrounded themselves. Consider the daily news. Moving on to the Congress we have Louie Gohmert, more grifters, and corrupt incompetents. And then we have Republican Mike Lee. And the important thing to remember is they are all there because people voted them into office. What really worries me is that Mike Lee is just speaking the Republican truth. The party really doesn't like democracy but does like violence. Let's hear it in their own words.

Representative Mike Lee. This is who the people of Utah chose to send to Congress.

It never fails that the party responsible for divisive rhetoric and violence as a matter of course always threatens violence against other Americans because Democrats were successful in an election. The midterm elections were barely a week old, and as if on a predetermined schedule, a Republican senator was warning of civil war because Democrats are unwilling to toe the Koch brothers line and work towards castrating the Federal government.

This is not the first time Republicans have beat their prone-to-violence base to the punch and threatened bloodshed if they fail to get what they want. In 2012 the Virginia Republican Party threatened that conservatives would launch a violent, bloody rebellion if President Barack Obama won re-election, and no small number of Trump advocates have warned of a violent civil war if the cretin was ever held accountable for the many high crimes and misdemeanors he and his family are involved in.

    It was the Duponts who tried to get General Smedley Butler (his book “War is a Racket) to lead their coup against Roosevelt. Nothing new to our United States when it comes to power at any price. We’ve even had Democrats like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton back military coups in Hondurus to overthrow their democratically elected presidents (fair election according to Jimmy Carter)>
