This piece was written nearly six months ago, and I am running it today for two reasons: First: no one in the future will ever be able to say Americans were not warned about Trump and his intentions. Second, because it shows, by the party’s months of silence, that the Republican Party is completely on board with Trump’s fascism. We have gotten to the point where a vote for Republican candidates is a vote to turn America in to a christofascist, White supremacy, male dominant party. If you vote Republican that’s what you are voting for.

The importance of DeSantis to me is that he has likewise argued that the Justice Department should be an extension of the executive branch, a classic example of fascism that shows the Republican Party is fascist to its core.

When Donald J. Trump responded to his latest indictment by promising to appoint a special prosecutor if he’s re-elected to “go after” President Biden and his family, he signaled that a second Trump term would fully jettison the post-Watergate norm of Justice Department independence.

“I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the entire Biden crime family,” Mr. Trump said at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., on Tuesday night after his arraignment earlier that day in Miami. “I will totally obliterate the Deep State.”

    The Dems have the advantage at this point…They just need to hammer away on abortion rights, repeat the stupid things tRump has said and let voters decide…
